How many clients can I work with at the same time?
The Neuflect platform is designed and built for one-on-one sessions between movement professionals and their clients. This helps the movement professional focus on the specific needs of each client they work with. This focus makes Neuflect perfect for helping individual clients make critical micro-adjustments that go overlooked in group sessions.
Can I use Neuflect to work with clients remotely?
Yes. Neuflect creates an immersive experience far beyond simple video conferencing. We designed our multi-camera/multi-screen technology to deliver deep engagement between you and your clients, remotely and in-person.
What if I’m training my client in-person?
The Neuflect platform and mobile application was first designed for in-person training and physical instruction. It allows you to position screens to help clients see themselves from new angles from multiple cameras. The platform is designed to enhance engagement with your client in-person or remotely.
How much physical space do I and my clients need?
When working with clients, we recommend an open space roughly 8’ x 8’ x 8’ (2.5m x 2.5m x 2.5m). Gym, clinic, studio, living room, dining room, entry way, garage, backyard, driveway, office—all offer great spots to connect via the Neuflect mobile application.
Is Neuflect hard to set up?
Setup is easy. You can host an unlimited number of clients on your Neuflect account by sending a text or email link to join your private Neuflect client list. When your client downloads the Neuflect mobile application via your link, you’re connected.
In-person or remote, you are able to connect with your clients, launch video sessions, control cameras and microphones, and share an immersive experience beyond simple video conferencing. You easily guide your client’s movements with multiple camera angles and real-time feedback by using any combination of laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
What devices does Neuflect support?
The Neuflect platform operates on a wide variety of mobile devices running either the Android or Apple iOS operating system.
Does everyone have to use two devices?
No. The Neuflect mobile application works with just one camera and one device if you like. The more cameras, the more viewing angles you can supply. Bigger screens help clients see the movements easier.
Can I record sessions?
Yes. The mobile application is designed to collect audio/visual recordings to share with clients and help guide their movements and exercise between sessions.
Can clients share videos between themselves?
No. Clients can see their own videos and delete videos at any time, but they cannot share or publish their videos via the app.
Can I delete videos I don’t like?
Yes. As the movement professional, you can delete videos for any client on your client list. Clients can delete their own videos at any time, even if they are no longer on your client list.
Are sessions secure?
Yes, and we never stop improving. Among the most advanced companies, security is a practice, not a status. Neuflect exceeds all mobile app security standards set by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
What is on-screen annotation?
Neuflect allows you to add hand-drawn markings to live or recorded videos. We call the feature on-screen annotation. Draw lines, dots, curves on the screen to help guide your client or set range-of-motion goals.
Is Neuflect a website or an app?
Both. The Neuflect platform is a web-based application with both a browser and a mobile application interface. You can get to Neuflect from any device connected to the web.
How much does Neuflect cost, and who pays for it?
During beta testing their is no cost to movement professionals or clients. Once beta testing concludes, Neuflect plans to offers a subscription to practitioners at TBD monthly rate; clients will continue to have free access to the platform. You can host an unlimited number of clients via your movement professional account.
How many clients can I have with my subscription?
Unlimited. Neuflect offers a subscription to movement professionals and it’s free for your clients to use. You can host an unlimited number of clients via your MP account.
Can I charge my clients to use Neuflect?
Yes, however we encourage you to think of Neuflect as a professional expense like rent or equipment. Your cost is very low and we don’t recommend that you charge clients to use the application, but that is between you and your client. We are here to help movement professionals engage with their clients.
Can I use Neuflect for athletic coaching?
Yes. The Neuflect platform is an ideal tool for coaching. With an unlimited number of clients for each subscriber, coaches can engage with as many athletes as they like.
What languages does Neuflect support?
Today, Neuflect supports English on the app, but we have big plans. As we expand our reach, we will add more and more languages.
What’s a human mirror neuron?
Mirror neurons allow you to understand and empathize with other people. They are key to how we connect with others, and they are crucial to helping us communicate movement and physical activity. The Neuflect platform leverages human mirror neurons to vastly improve classic say–see–do instruction. When we show clients a new movement, we say what we are going to do, and then clients see how we move, and then clients do the movement. Say–see–do instruction is a proven teaching technique.
